Job Title: Principal/Continuous School Improvement Specialist

Department: School

Reports To: Superintendent

 

SUMMARY

 

This is an administrative position responsible for managing an individual school campus,

coordinating and supervising all personnel, and advancing school improvement. Duties include providing leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluations of the school’s instructional program; interpreting the school’s program to the community (school community engagement); serving as executive officer to the local school; and maintaining responsibility for supervision of the physical environment. In addition, organizing, managing, coordinating, and monitoring data, assessment, instructional programs, academic coaching, and special projects district-wide to ensure relevant academic leaders have tools, resources, and information necessary to increase academic growth and achievement outcomes.

Is subject to phone calls at odd hours and other predictable and unpredictable demands. Must maintain a condition of excellent physical and mental health.
